about

The Ashen Queen had a sickness in her soul, and the Cedar King tried everything he could think of to cure her. He built for her a beautiful garden, so beautiful that it was said that nobody could be sad while they were there, and they called it the Garden of Banishing Sorrow.

The Cedar King lead her around and showed her everything that had been done, and told her that it was all for her. This only distressed her more, because she felt like she was not able to appreciate it fully. She was sad to see so much work put into something that was not even able to banish her sorrow, and upset to see so much fuss over her.

lyrics

And then the band began to play
And the Cedar King sat down beside the Ashen Queen
And he began to sing her this song:

I've got a lot to worry about
but I'm not gonna worry right now

What can you do but laugh
when there's nothing else left to do

Do you want to walk with me?
In this garden
In the shade
